This still feels rather pointless, but it's not like it's some harmful or complicated suggestion that would really boggle down on resources. They've spoken before and Lottie admitted to not being great in combat, so it made sense for her to try doing things from a different angle. She deserves the benefit of the doubt, at the very least.
