Personally, I've been of a similar mind as you. Some of us are less sturdy than others, after all. Or aren't really keen on getting our...bodies destroyed. I'm not quite sure how that one works yet.

Personally, if we have several with the ability to... support our companions, we could likely have some of us spread out throughout whatever... field, or cave, we happen to get stuck in.
