A leader with a grand vision should have no problem making at least an attempt at explaining it, if only to increase buy-in among those who already follow them. By refusing to provide even a single compelling reason for their silence beyond just 'not feeling like explaining', they've all but solidified Ryunosuke's suspicion that the Regent doesn't actually know what they want, past an end of all things. They don't have a single clue how to actually improve the world, do they? They just want to tear it all down and be done.
