Mmm... unless you're taking them all the way to a market in Achamoth, then putting them there might make more of a statement to the citizens who aren't fighting us rather than the soldiers. A crossroad or gate in the direction they're coming from might do the trick though.

[ Things like this actually make him kind of queasy and uncomfortable, but he's talked to her just enough to get the sense that she's stubborn.

So here's to hoping that his point about harassing the soldiers instead of the citizens will appeal to her, because he'd like to spare as many of them as possible the sight of these heads. ]

Whether you take sole responsibility or not, it won't really change how people see it. Besides, isn't it better for you too if you put it up somewhere that the largest number of soldiers will see it anyway, rather than where most of the people that spot it are civilians?

Haha, yeah I have to admit I wouldn't go all the way there. There's no point getting yourself killed just to make a statement.

Do you know what path they take to get to the barracks? You might be able to get pretty close to it without going right up to the gates. If you post them along the way, then they don't have any choice but to see them whenever they're moving to and from the city.
