[There's a brief pause.]

Everyone who has here during the initial wave already saw it happen. An Achamite was sacrificed to complete a ritual in front of us, the woman who performed it later told me that they consented to give up their soul out of their own free will. This sort of blind fanaticism runs rampant here, such are the extremes that some cultists are willing to go in their worship of the Regent.

[Yeah, basically. Ciel takes no pleasure in recounting the tale, but since they're talking about souls, may as well bring back that anecdote.

Ah, but there is something of a hum at that response. So Saber has feelings and opinions about it, relatively strong to boot. Chaotic, but not evil? She did seem to put quite a bit of weight into her title as knight, and it would be far more strange for a knight to be okay with the idea of casually consuming souls to maintain their strength. Only anti-heroes do that?

She's starting to get a better idea of this 'Saber', she (tentatively) thinks.]

Everything in this world is magically attuned to some degree, the mana here is inarguably richer compared to whichever time period on Earth that you were going to be summoned to. [Age of Gods credentials is debatable on Horos, but every native having some capacity for magic is still more than Earth where there's always normies abound.] It may be what's helping you keep your form stable, but that's just a theory too. [Something something Aion bodies, something something self-perception... Oh, there's a thought:]

Do you know your Legacy, Saber? You may not have been able to tell before, unattuned, but now that you are, it's possible that you may feel more rejuvenated at your Legacy shrine of origin.
