[ A few days after the events of the TDM and as the new Pleroma-will-bes settle in, Hiccup decides it's the best time to do something that may only be questionably useful. The message that gets pinged to everyone's shards at some point midday, no matter when they check it is as such: ]
To those of you who are new to our doomsday paradise, welcome! For those of you who have been here a while, you're welcome to listen along. Who knows you may learn a thing or two — maybe.
This is Horos. You've probably found yourself in one of two places, Godsblood or Greentruth. Both are great places with their own unique venues, some more not for the faint of heart than others. If you prefer city life and beachside houses, Godsblood is for you. The city is as vast as it is steamy — No, really. There's plenty to get into, but I'm pretty sure I've flown in skies less cloudy. It's not a bad place if you're looking for fancy markets and nice taverns — But, be warned. While there are those who will look out for there, screaming you're from another world will get you more trouble than not. Blending in is key and, really, who doesn't want to be theirselves?
Greentruth may take you more time to adjust in, but personally it's the preferable place. A village built in the heart of a forest, its local animal and plant population may be surprising. If you like reptiles, there's plenty of them. Be careful of the plants, too, because they may leave some... undesirable effects. But if you can get past that, the village is a bustling heart of brave people who won't turn even the strangest of us away. If you're looking for a feeling of relative safety, then look no further! A different sort of danger lives in the midsts of the trees.
As for anything else if you're receiving this then — congratulations! That means you've started finding your own place here and now you've got to take you journey further. This is a world far beyond the two places we've congregated in and even beyond that... The world, the universe has got a lot more vast. Whatever that may mean, just know that we're here to help each other. At least I am. So if you need anything, there will always be someone for you. In one of those two places or here, in this weird... mindscape like thing? Look, it's still pretty new to me, too.
Anyway, if you have any questions or anything to pitch in — Well, we're all ears! Or shards, as it were.

[ Says the man who absolutely prefers cities by the sea. ]
It's a decent introduction regardless.

[ Maybe that one's a him thing. ]

Port cities are usually like that. I guess it makes sense that wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea though.

[ So why ??? Would anyone choose to? He doesn't get it, but there's some good things about being a Viking era person: ] There's definitely never a lack for anything to do or learn about, though, I'll give you that one though.

Exactly the reason people will tolerate a little smog from time to time. The benefits are there if you do a little looking.

[ He would be right at home in that role though... ]

[ You can almost see the visual handwaving Hiccup does on his side: ]
Give us a couple of trips and we're have the most steam-lined welcoming committee ever. We'll have maps, full-on get your scene-fitting clothing here, and a nice welcome dinner on the beach after the tour is over. What can go wrong?

[ They might be open about who they are at Greentruth, but there's a need to be cagey about their Aion status with the Godsblood citizens. ]

You know what they say, the best way to blend in with the locals is be one with the locals.

[ Famous last words. ]

You say that now, but I think I'd still like to play it a little more careful than take that risk.

[ He doesn't necessarily think congregating all outside of Greentruth is a good idea, but it can be fun to imagine. When it comes to other's safety he's unsurprisingly pretty well-behaved, even if his understanding of polite norms is a little skewed... But, then, Berk is all more like an extended family than a city is. ]
But I do think we need something more formal than just throwing the new folk straight into Godsblood with no help. Maybe we can see about buying a stowaway house or something...?

Though his suggestion does get Ernesto thinking. ]
It's hard to say if how often we'll need something like that, or if we'll ever need one again, but it might not be a bad idea for us to pool resources and purchase a space regardless. We've got to get supplies back to Greentruth, and we can't be seen dragging large quantities of anything through the streets to the portal as it is. We can probably section aside part of whatever property we buy to act as a temporary living space for any new arrivals from the Shrines.
