[PLEROMA] | I heard a rumor...
[ The communion is clear, practiced, and clipped. Business-like. ]
We have quite a few new arrivals, so... Welcome to the Pleroma. I am sure we will all have the opportunity to introduce ourselves to you, but it's often polite to introduce oneself, isn't it? My name is Akua Sahelian, and I speak to you now of what I wish were a warm welcome, but instead, of serious tidings.
I do not know how many of you have been introduced to the wider group, or how much information you've been presented, so allow me to give you all a basics, hm?
If you can hear this, you have accepted the Pleroma. You may have already met one, or many of them, but regardless if you met them before -- we oppose the Kenoma -- perhaps not the individuals, but the... force of kenoma itself. Pleroma and Kenoma are no mere forces of Good and Evil -- The Kenoma would destroy this world -- and all worlds -- to rebirth a world of their own making from the ashes. If you have joined with us, then you have found perhaps something to save here -- or perhaps you believe that your world is still out there. Some do, but I will not promise that which I cannot see with my own eyes. Whatever has brought you to us, I'm afraid that I cannot promise an easy fight -- or an easy existence here. Even now, the Kenoma have captured two of our own, and I have no doubt that they will come out with an experience that only a True Villain by the name of the Regent could craft. [ In communion, it sounds like a Title, a Name. ]
We will have to rescue them, and though I wish I could say that only those that are willing to fight should come, the truth of it is that we must collectively join together. There is no choice, and we will need every willing person to join in, to save our allies. If you have experienced combat before -- of any sort -- your experience will be more than welcome. If you do not, please reach out to one us, and we will find a place for you. We all have...grand and great talents, and we'll need every single one, to find victory when our allies are eventually retrieved. You will be needed, no matter what your experience was before you arrived, you will be able to find some use of your unique talents. Please, if you are new, speak up, tell us about yourselves, and ask your questions. I'm sure someone will answer it. Even the smallest of talents, can mean the difference between losing more of our allies an assets, or victory.
I cannot provide details at this time -- no plans have been set -- but I will tell you to be ready.
Speaking of being ready, however... I must turn a part of our discussion to something just as serious, but in a different vein. I think it clear, that we will have to continue to fight those who have signed on to the Kenoma, and while it's an inevitability, particularly in these times -- we need to assess our enemies. We will want to share the names, the abilities, and the demeanors of our enemies, those in the Kenoma who may be a threat, those who would be weak to physical threat, or...
[ A pause, then. ]
I was...dissipated recently. As I regrew, I... knew something. [ Her voice now almost sounds...authoritative. Like she is Speaking something of great import, the communion gives her words an emphasis that she can only imagine, as it would not work in person. ]
While no Sovereign, they are sovereign in this land, and though their plans have been thwarted in some small ways, they have been given a gift. The gift of knowing the true hearts of their followers, one way or the other. They have no use for the frail and the convictionless, after all. Venera and Godsblood are not the only ones that face culling, as the light of the Sovereign fades.
I believe... there may be individuals within the kenoma that have less conviction than others. They may be willing to help, or even defect, although we will be racing against the Regent's own touch. We may wish to seek them out, and free them from the Kenoma, they may come willingly, but they may also come by force. If you have spoken to those who lack conviction for their Sect, please, share that as well. It may be invaluable. If we know who lacks the resolve to stay with them, we can then pursue them, convince them, or bring them to our bases, to be convinced. I know some may find that unpleasant work -- but... Well, let's just say occasionally, capturing your enemy and teaching them of your perspective works.
I'd know.
[ A pause, before: ] Well, now. Please chime in, I shouldn't do all of the talking.

help i love her
If we can neutralize her eyes, there might not be much point to killing her.
[ it's NOT A NO, just, ]
STOP the way she's just proving the kenoma right
She might not be able to do anything, but she can still communion, right? Then we'll get someone else on our ass, like a healer or whatever. Better to deal with just one.
SHE'S PERFECT
[ he's actually thinking about this, help. IMAGINE DROPPING IT AND INSTA-DYING ]
spiderman pointing "the shard tho..."
[SHE'S THINKING ABOUT IT TOO, HELP. the way she forgot even though she's using it right now to communicate,]
Okay, you might not risk it, but what about her?
WHEEZE
That'd be a stupid way to die, wouldn't it?
im in tears
...You'd think so, huh.
[.....dokja...... but that's the wrong blonde,]
I can see some people dying like that.
[DOKJA]
me tOO
but also he pauses because while he'd defend matrim cauthon with his life he can. he can imagine. mat at least coming close on accident.
]
Probably not her.

rand 🤝 sooyoung
having idiotic friends]
Okay, fine. [dokja distracted her, this is all his fault, sulkily] I still think we should kill her if she gets in our way.

[ dissipation isn't even permanent, is it? and if that's what it takes to save himeka and abel, so be it. he knows misa's as willing to die for this war as he is. ]
We're at a disadvantage as it is.
no subject
They've got the castle, money, supplies, the city... a bunch of Aions who seem just as weird as us, but some of them are fanatics...
...Has it always been like this? How long have you been here for?
no subject
[ it feels like so much less time. and so much longer. ]
It's gotten worse since I've been here. This is the first time anyone's been kidnapped to Achamoth like this. [ a pause, then, ] Things were still bad, but quieter...except not long ago, the Regent made an address to all of us. They told that they were done letting the Pleroma be, and that their Kenoma should capture anyone they can. They also started executing people here in Horos, locals. We stopped some of deaths, but not all of them.
no subject
But now?]
What the hell -- what prompted the sudden attitude change? Did we kick the Kenoma's ass a little too hard or something?
[that is, that's what she HOPES happened?]
no subject
I don't know.
[ with a faint thread of amusement. ]
But even the Aions who have been here longer than I have, have been for a few more months themselves. Maybe the Regent was biding their time.
[ in other words, it's not like there are aions who have been here for years (tehri and whatever went on with the last war excepting), and the regent suddenly snapped. maybe they were waiting several months before doing...something. ]

[the way she says this so confidently despite being the new kid at school... if SHE were the tyrant in charge then she'd never have let it get like this!!! well, she kind of did that one time, but that wasn't her fault, anyway]
...Would be nice if that worked in our favor though. [there's a little mental 'bleh' of annoyance] But if they want to escalate, then whatever. Maybe it'll get all of this over with faster.
no subject
Maybe it will. [ work in their favor. ] Things didn't go exactly as they planned, already. If it's happened once it can happen again.
no subject
It definitely will. No way things will be smooth sailing for them, even if they are more determined.
[smashcut to rand and hsy suffering during this raid but it's fine that'sgrowth.gif]
...You know, these mind meetings are nice and all... But do we have any of this stuff written down anywhere?
no subject
anyway, her question gives him pause. ]
I don't know, [ admitted. ] I don't think so. This is the first meeting like this we've had since I've gotten here.
no subject
Better late than never, I guess.
[damb why don't they have the internets here so they can send a pdf to everyone]
It's gonna be a pain sharing just one copy with everyone... Not all of us live in Greentruth, right?
no subject
[ friendly-ish. don't let anyone find out you're an aion or with the resistance and it's fine. ]
no subject
Do you live in Godsblood?
[the wheels are turning....]
no subject
I do, yeah.
[ what wheels.... ]
no subject
I'll hit you up the next time I'm in the city then. After the raid. What's your name?
[smashcut to their suffering after but it's okay they don't know yet]
no subject
Rand. Rand al'Thor. I don't think I got yours.
[ puts a hand over their suffering i do not perceive it, ]
no subject
also the way sooyoung is just like "rand al'thor? that's such a protagonist name?? HELLO???"]
Oh -- yeah. I try not to tell people my name, just in case. [OF WHAT? anyway] But I guess I should now that I'm gonna be here...
[unlike some people she will not lie and call herself SEBASTIAN]
It's Han Sooyoung. You can call me Sooyoung.
no subject
In case of what?
[ NO, HE WANTS TO KNOW stop rolling straight past that!!!! ]
It's — [ well. ] I wish we were meeting under better circumstances.
