Hii! Hope I'm not interrupting anything by posting this since I know we're all busy adjusting. I'm Lottie Person, and I was thinking over some things about the war and all that stuff..

We really need to start working on our image. If we want to make sure people don't leave and join the other side, or think we're bad people, we have to rebrand. Thankfully, I'm pretty experienced in PR [ she isn't ] so I'm putting this thing together for the Regent.

No, I have never thought that choosing the Kenoma or Pleroma could bear any relation to outward appearance until your transmission. I wouldn't have asked if you didn't make it sound like that!

...but as she Swears she's not some bullheaded teenager, there's almost the sense of... taking a deep breath, on the other end. Once the moment passes, it's calm and controlled again.]

Well, I kind of need to see what everyone even looks like first. There isn't exactly any profiles I can click on.

And since you wanted an explanation? I just mean making sure we all have a solid look. That we're clean and cohesive and understand what our brand is. Clothing is important and so is looking presentable, open, and inviting at the same time, but still adhering to our guide.. And sure we look fine now but we could look better. Happy?

That was more amicable of a reply than she thought. What the hell? Lottie's confusion at the turn of events and equal, very minuscule, but baaaarely sprinkled in there joy at someone not shooting her down is transmitted through her silence.

I mean... I guess it depends? What do you, personally, want people to see when they look at you repping the brand?

[Some of us may be skeptics but we're at least not skeptic assholes?? This still feels rather pointless, but it's not like it's some harmful or complicated suggestion that would really boggle down on resources. They've spoken before and Lottie admitted to not being great in combat, so it made sense for her to try doing things from a different angle. She deserves the benefit of the doubt, at the very least. That's why there's no need to be super dismissive or rude!

Ciel is not coping, her reasoning is perfectly sound.

Approachable for anything? I'd try to answer questions and help in whatever ways I can. Whether it's learning how to fight, information about this world, or just sit down for a break and some small talk... All this can understandably be very overwhelming, but we can see each other through it.

[ Oh god. She wants to be a tour guide. Suddenly everything makes sense, now (does it???). Ciel seems pretty confident in her reply, sounding like she already painted an image for herself and is dead set on it. So does she really need her help? What does Ciel even look like?? ]

So [ Lottie thinks intensely, trying to spin this in a way that isn't just "approachable", ] you want to be seen as someone people can lean on, is that it?

[Yeah actually sending a pic over would probably be a helpful start... Too bad she's Taking This Seriously now, which actually just feels... kind of awkward, ngl? But since this is clearly important to one of their allies--!]

[Being reincarnated into some fantasy world as demigods and enlisted to fight the war between the forces of hope and despair, and she wants to be ~dependable~ when she's just as new as everyone else. But it relates to projecting a good image and is thus relevant to the topic at hand, right?? On one hand, at least she's self-aware. On the other, she's very much getting more self-conscious the longer she thinks about this, and the sense of uncertainty can likely be picked up from the other side of the line. Hhh...]

I'm a bit curious about what you mean by that, but I'm also afraid to ask. Um, that is... If there's going to be more Aions after us, we'll probably have to explain to them the situation here and make them feel welcome. Thinking on it, that should be something your proposition of 'rebranding' would directly play into. I don't mind handling the explanation part, but I haven't thought about how to dress and present myself, other than be helpful and friendly. Is that the sort of thing you mean?
